Years ago, there was a small village. A blind man was living there and he was always trolled by the village youths for carrying a lamp with him always in the night.
However, the man did not resort to anything when he heard such comments. Days passed by. He had not lived up his habit of carrying lamp with him during night.
His last time came and he did not go outside due to illness. Villagers gathered at his home and showed sympathy. During conversation, a gentleman suddenly asked the blind the reason of his lamp carrying habit. The reply was outstanding — “The lamp is not for mine but for the persons like you walk behind me.”
