Amit Shah Bats for ‘Hindi’; Urges to Make It National Identity


Sept. 14, 2019 – On the occasion of Hindi Diwas, India’s Home Minister Amit Shah pitched for Hindi, expecting the language can bind all the nationals in common thread. It is necessary for the country to have a language that can represent it across the globe. 

In a tweet, Shah told that the country is home to many languages and every language bears its specials but it is very important to have one and that will represent the nation in  the world. 

The minister also urged the Indians to scale up the use of their mother tongue along with Hindi so that the dreams of our leaders like Mahatma Gandhi and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel can be accomplished. Hindi is the largest speaking language in the country. 

This call of Shah brought severe criticism from the people especially belong to the South Indian states. It has turned into a political topic rather having national importance.
