Nov. 02/11 – Worsening the squabble further, Shiv Sena alleged its long time political and ideological ally Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) bullied it to implement President’s rule in Maharashtra like Mughals.
After coming out of the poll results a weak before, the two parties have been engaged in tussle for taking the chief minister position. None of them is willing to pave way for another. in the 288 assembly seat state, BJP secured 105 seats while the other 56.
According to some sources, Shiv Sena has recently reached out to the National COngress Party (NCP) and Congress party to form the government and on the other side, the BJP has been mum in its approach.
