‘BulBul’ Updates: Odisha, Bengal Situation Alarming

Nov. 08/11 – The India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued cautionary warning regarding the effects of cyclone ‘Bulbul’ which is predicted to hit West Bengal sparing Odisha but many parts of both states would experience heavy rainfall.

The effects of Bulbul have already been noticed in the coastal areas of Odisha as rain has already been started. On the other hand, the wind with rain has already begun in West Bengal. Nothing can be predicted now on the speed of the wind. Bangladesh might see the wrath of the cyclone mostly.

The IMD predicted the cyclonic effects will be felt for two days – Friday and Saturday. It would take time to completely pass over. Thus, Sunday may not be a normal day.
