Nov. 16/11 – Three parties Shiv Sena, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and Indian National Congress (INC) are likely to meet Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari today primarily to request him for fast assistance to rain affected farmers.
The trio with diverse ideologies have prepared a common minimum programme draft before entering into an alliance. Soon, they will demand before the governor to form the government in Maharashtra, according to top brass of the parties.
Under their alliance formula, the Shiv Sena will get the chief minister post for the entire five years while other two will have deputies. The speaker of the house will be from Congress and the deputy from Shiv Sena. The number of ministers will be given distributed among them according to their representatives.
The final decision on the alliance will be made after the meeting between NCP leader Sharad Pawar and Congress supremo Sonia Gandhi possibly on November 17 in New Delhi.
