Nov. 21/2019 – In the recently announced Rajasthan Judicial Service (RJS) results, 127 women among the total of 197 candidates were in the list. Mayank Pratap Singh (21) topped in the exam.
The result of Civil Judge Cadre 2018 as per the state Judicial Service Rules, 2010, was declared for 197 posts on Wednesday. Women clearly dominated the results; even in the top 10 positions eight are women.
Singh became the most youngest candidate to crack the exam as the High Court curtailed the minimum age for appearing the exam to 21 from 23 this year only. He did 5-year integrated BA-LLB course from University of Rajasthan in Jaipur.
Tanvi Mathur secured the second spot and she also did 5-year integrated course from Amity University in Jaipur. Her maternal uncle, Pramil Kumar Mathur, is a judicial officer and is posted as secretary of Rajasthan Assembly. Her cousin is also a judicial officer and posted in Ajmer.
